- 2 power ranges available, EFM-48-3.7 with 3.7kW and EFM-48-7.5 with 7.5kW shaft power
- available in the EFMD-48-3.7 and EFMD-48-7.5 versions as a steerable POD drive.

- absolutely maintenace-free high-tech BLDC-motor “Made in Germany”
- standard shaft 25mm with cone 1:10 and M16x1,5 nut
- the scope of delivery includes a 3-blade bronze fixed propeller, which is calculated to fit your ship
- small dimensions, therefore optimal flow behavior, length including shaft nut 643mm only, length of the actual POD 545mm. Diameter of the POD 130mm
- high maintenance friendliness, whether in the event of an accident or due to simple wear, all parts, in particular the wear parts such as shaft sealing rings and ball bearings, can be easily replaced without special tools.
- Extreme protection against corrosion, all parts are not only protected against corrosion with a high-quality, seawater- resistant 2-component coating, but are also anodized.The propeller shaft is of course made of absolutely seawater- resistant stainless steel
The development of the project was funded by the state of Tyrol.
Teh scope of delivery includes:
- Pod-drive with standard shaft 1:10 cone, 25mm shaft diameter, M16x1,5 nut
- 3-blade bronze fixed propeller
- sacrificial anode (zinc)
- infinitely variable motor control unit with high current fuse and main contactor mounted on an aluminum mounting plate
- single lever throttle for side mounting with key switch and status LED with connection cable to motor control unit (5m)
- set of high current cables motor - motor controller and motor control unit to battery main switch (3m)
- battery main switch
- Bluetooth adapter for visualisation of the parameter and for individually programming of the motor controller

In the steerable version EFMD are also included in the scope of delivery:
- rudder shaft with customized length
- hennegat pipe for laminating, alternatively with mounting plate for screwing
- adjusting rings for boat-specific height adjustment
- optional tiller or rudder quadrant (extra charge)
